As Glam Rock stomped into teenage bedrooms, John Howard left home for London, was signed to CBS Records, making his debut album at Abbey Road studios. He appeared on TV with stars like Johnny Mathis and David Essex, wrote and recorded the theme song for the Peter Fonda movie, Open Season, and launched his album at The Purcell Room.
