-I read this book in less than 24 hours, I was hooked and I didn’t want to put it down! At times I felt like the book was predictable (especially since we’re given a lot of main details early on) but somehow there was always a plot twist or a reveal that meant I was slightly off and still shocked, even if I was reading a version of what I knew was coming. I found myself thinking like this was a real person that existed in history it was so convincing. Very emotional at times and I definitely had a few tears rolling down my face at a certain point of the book. I will also add - make sure you understand the trigger warnings before you start reading.
